«Swallows and Men»,
a film by Murielle Decarpenterie
It is the story of two worlds which meet. A priori they were totally opposed one to the other, like two poles too far apart ever to meet up. And yet between these two extremes a link was created. Differences were subjugated and a commitment was born.
The most beautiful tales are sometimes written where no one would have expected them. Industry and nature are no longer opponents. They put themselves at the service of one another.

Exceptional characters and scenery
Helmeted heads, fluorescent overalls and safety boots. Our characters play out in an industrial site where everything is intense, noisy and huge. They transform the rocks. They break them up to make other forms.
And where is nature in all this? She is alive and well in the hearts of Sami, Claudy, Alexandre, Fernand, Marc, Henri-Michel et Luc who live beside her every day. Wildlife came to them. It was like the echo of their commitment in this ecosystem where everything must find its place.
